6th GeoCapabilities Project Partner Meeting: Doukas School, Athens, Greece
2nd - 4th May 2016
This meeting focussed on the getting the GeoCapabilities public website ready for launch and finalising the training modules. The meeting also trialled templates for teacher education sessions using Modules 1 and 4 in a successful workshop, with 20 participant teachers and teacher educators from Athens; with specialisms in a variety of subjects, indicating that the GeoCapabilities approach can be applied to develop a Future 3 (knowledge-led) curriculum in other school subject disciplines.

27th - 29th November 2015
This meeting focussed on the course Training Modules and platform and
evaluating how they matched to the intended project audience(s).
It also discussed approaches to 'outreach' and dissemination and project outcomes.
4th GeoCapabilities Project Partner Meeting: Helsinki, Finland
30th May - 1st June 2015
This meeting followed the NoFa Conference 2015
at the University of Hesinki and focussed
on the role of powerful knowledge
curriculum making/didaktiks and the use of
vignettes as a means of illustration and reflection.
3rd GeoCapabilities Project Partner Meeting: Brussels, Belgium.
27th - 30th November 2014
The focus of this meeting was on reporting the research phase
and using this to inform the development of the initial training modules.
2nd GeoCapabilities Project Partner Meeting: Valetta, Malta.
17th - 19th May 2014
This meeting followed the EUROGEO conference 2014 at the University of Malta
and foussed on the dissemination strategy and development of the project website,
outling the training course and the nature of the platform through which it
will be accessed.

Inaugural Meeting
This meeting focussed on discussing the theory of capabilities, powerful knowledge
and the idea of geocapability with a view to determining the research needed
to develop how it might apply to geography curricula in an international context.
